What to see & do in Litchfield

Litchfield National Park covers approximately 1500 km² 100km south-west of Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. Sealed roads make access to Litchfield’s many attractions easy in any vehicle for most of the year. Some of the attractions require a standard 4WD for access. This also means there will be few people there.

With so many locations to explore you will need at least 2 days to see them all!

Litchfield National Park: Sandy swimming holes, cascading watercourses, spectacular waterfalls that flow year-around, open plains dotted with grey magnetic termite mounds, lush pockets of monsoon rainforest and thousands of cycads like cheerful green feather dusters.
